Barcode Logic supplies a range of blank Labels and Thermal Ribbons, from 40x28 mm size labels for Product Labeling and suited for EAN Code barcodes right through onto 100x150 mm size labels for Despatch and Shipping labels, even into A4 size Labels, and A4 size Labels that are sectioned to 8 labels per A4 sheet.

These standard sizes can be used for a multitude of different tasks. 40x28 are excellant for product labeling. 50x25 size labels are another standard product labeling size, and have also been used in such varied tasks as Sheep Shearing. 101x73mm labels have many applications especially for woodworking labels and instructional stickers. To Despatch and Shipping size labels in the 100x150mm size labels and the A4 size Label able to be used in a standard printer.
Understanding Label Types.
There are many different types of labels, not just there size. Some Label printers are Direct Thermal. Not requiring a Thermal ribbon. Others are Thermal Transfer which need a Thermal Ribbon to print. Some Jobs require the Labels to be easily removable such as woodworking labels. Other tasks require them to be permanently adhesive, or even yet made from synthetic material to withstand water and other substances.
Here is a breakdown of BarcodeLogics Label codes
- D = Direct Thermal Transfer (does not require a ribbon to print)
- T = Thermal Transfer (does require a ribbon)
- R = Removeable (labels come off with ease)
- P = Permanent. (Labels are very difficult to remove)
- S = Even harder to remove. (extreamly adhesive)
Also important to understand are "Core" sizes. The core size is the diameter of the reel that the label roll sits on inside the printer. There are 3 standard sizes. 76mm for Large Printers (eg. Z4M Printer). 38mm for Smaller Printers (eg. TLP 2844) and the 25mm also for small printers.

- A4-Label-Sheet-Paper-1000. This is our plain A4 Label stickers. Can be used in Standard Laser printers. 1000 sheets per box of these A4 plain labels. These are Removable.
- A4L-105x74.25-8.A4-T-R-P-1000. These are our specialised "sectioned" A4 Labels. Each A4 Label is split into 8 labels each measureing 105x74.25mm. These labels are 2 across and 4 down. 1000 sheets per box of A4 labels. These are Removable and often used in cabinet making and woodworking.

Thermal Transfer Ribbons.
BarcodeLogic also supplies Thermal Transfer Ribbons. Our ribbon range is designed to work in the same printers as our labels If you are going to use THERMAL TRANSFER Labels for higher quality printing on a label such as the L40x28-T-R-P-1000-38-1 Product label Then you WILL NEED a ribbon, or the printing will not work.

- R10887 - A 110mm wide ribbon. Designed to work with the larger label sizes.
- R10899 - A 55mm wide ribbon. Designed to work with the 50x25 and 40x28 size labels, this ribbon has an extended extra wide core. Allowing it to work in a larger printer.
- R10900 - A 55mm wide ribbon. Designed to work with the 50x25 and 40x28 size labels, this ribbon is designed specificaly for smaller printers.
